Dear Parents & Students,
I hope that you had a wonderful long weekend. We had a wonderful week last week. I am looking forward to another week of learning.
This week we will begin reading Tales of a 4th grade Nothing. I am sure that the students will love this book. In math, we will start with lesson 15. We will focus on adding and subtracting with regrouping. Please remember to practice your multiplication tables at home. In science, we will continue going over animal classification. Don't forget to study for the test! In history, we will continue to go over AZ history. In Writing, we will continue to go over sentences. This week will focus on run-on sentences. Don't forget to study for your test!
This week I will start help class on Tuesday and Thursday from 3:30- 4:00. Help Class is not manditory, but if your child is struggling in an area, it is suggested. Help class will focus on each individual child's struggles. It will provide help in Writing, Math, and Science. If you would like for your child to stay, please send in a note giving them permission. I will not force a child to stay for help class. Thirty minutes will go by fast, so I want to help those that want and need help.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at mandienschool@yahoo.com or mwallace@lpatucson.org. Also, check out our class blog at http://mrswallacelpa.blogspot.com.
