Newsletter
Dear Parents and Students,
Happy Monday! I hope that all of you had a wonderful weekend.
Although last week was a short week, we accomplished several things. We focused on Aims review and finished CBM testing. We will begin with Math Lesson 85 this week. We will also finish reading the book Double Fudge. In English, we will then be going over rules for adding commas. In science, we will start talking about simple machines. In history/geography, we will going over how to read different types of maps. We will also continue practicing for the aims test. We will take time out each day for about 10 minutes to go over flashcards. We will also take about an hour each Friday to review. This is the time to drill those multiplication and division flashcards at home. Success cannot be achieved through class work only. We must work together to help your child succeed and meet the goals that are set before them.
I look forward to a wonderful week of learning. Check the link for the upcoming events. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me at mandienschool@yahoo.com or call me at school. Also, don’t forget to check out the blog.
Thank You,
Mrs. Wallace
